Inky Beer Factoid: January 8

On this day in 1968, French explorer, Jacques Cousteau, featured his first television undersea special in the United States.  Jacques famous vessel, The Calypso, was built in Seattle in 1942 and later purchased from the Guinness family (Loel Guinness) in 1950.  From there, it was transformed into a ship for oceanic adventure and research.
