On this day in 1991, musician, singer and songwriter, Freddie Mercury dies of pneumonia brought on by the AIDS virus. He was best known as the lead vocalist for the British rock band, Queen. Some of his greatest works include, “We Are the Champions”, “Somebody To Love”, and “Bohemian Rhapsody” (to name a few).
It was assumed that Freddie made Heineken his preferred beer beverage of choice because he was seen drinking it at many of his concert performances. Check out this Heineken Beer commercial to admire the vocals.
