On this day in 2011, Hoosier Rocker, John Mellencamp divorced model Elaine Irwin after 18 years of marriage.  He is now galloping around Bloomington, Indiana with actress Melanie Griffith.

Hmm…  Although it has been said that John doesn’t drink, he sang a few songs about beer such as “Beer and Bones” and “Goes Good with Beer”, (no videos found for these) but we remember him most when songs like “Pink Houses” or “Hurts so Good” find their way through on the radio.
