A long time ago, my sister Carly mentioned that she would not get a tattoo unless all three of us got the same one. (Thanks for making this happen, Carly!) Around Thanksgiving weekend of 2006, my two sisters (Lisa and Carly) and I headed over to Lake Geneva Tattoo to get matching ink. Thanks to Greg, owner and artist, for these excellent tattoos that mean the world to us.
As children, we took horseback riding lessons together and, if the light pink skin did not give it away, we’re also Irish. The Irish used to hang horseshoes right side up over their front door to give luck onto all that passed under the shoe. The horseshoe was always right side up in Irish tradition so that the luck would not run out.

Now that’s a good lookin’ bunch of ladies! Giddy-up!
Why, thank you, ma’am!
I still can’t believe I was able to convince you and Lisa to get one with me (not that it was too hard :D)! It’s still my favorite tattoo!
